Anne-Marie Lewis

Anne-Marie Lewis

I currently work within the NHS (adult services) and the voluntary sector (young people aged12-25) as well as having a small private practice. I have an integrated therapeutic approach principally informed by psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy theory and practice. I have extensive experience of working with clients with a range of difficulties including depression, anxiety disorders (panic, health anxiety, OCD, trauma, general anxiety), and managing chronic illness. Having worked in the field of sexual health and HIV for over 20 years I have specialist expertise working with clients with sexuality and psychosexual concerns. As a mindfulness trainer and supervisor I regularly run mindfulness based stress reduction (MBSR) and mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) groups. I also provide mindfulness training for stress reduction, anxiety disorders and recurrent depression on an individual basis.
