Dr Terry Boucher

Terry is a Consultant Counselling Psychologist working in both private practice and the NHS. He works across a number of settings providing management, direct client work (individual and group), clinical and professional supervision, and training. He works with a broad range of presenting issues, including anxiety and depression, and specialises in working with those who experience Chronic Pain. He did his practitioner doctorate at the University of Surrey and works integratively, drawing on humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural models in his client work.


He has written two book chapters, one considering the application of CBT in pluralistic clinical settings, the other on issues relating to working in the field of Chronic Pain.


He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and chartered with the British Psychological Society, and is a partner at Vivamus Psychologists.
